Our second year student Quinten Swagerman is showing his work at the Printoom, during the International Film Festival Rotterdam.

The group show, ‘The Flip Collection II’ introduces several young artists who use the playful format of the flip book for surprisingly serious, documentary purposes. Quinten has created is flipbook project during his studies at the Master Media Design & Communication course at the Piet Zwart Institute.

PrintRoom is a new presentation space and shop dedicated to artists’ publications based in Rotterdam. Operating as an independent platform for artists, designers and small publishers from all over the globe they explore and present the various positions possible within the field of artists’ publications. They follow new developments, discuss, collect and invite people for talks and presentations.
