Marco Pasi is Assistant Professor of History of Hermetic Philosophy and related currents at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). He is the author/editor of several books, among which Aleister Crowley e la tentazione della politica, which has been translated into various languages. He is now preparing a book on the history of the concept of magic. Among other things, he has curated the exhibition of paintings by Aleister Crowley at the Palais de Tokyo (La Chambre des Cauchemars). He is also general editor of the Aries Book Series, published by Brill, and book-review editor of Aries: Journal for the Study of Western Esotericism.
