Maria Fusco is a Belfast-born writer living in London. Her first collection of short stories, The Mechanical Copula has recently been published by Sternberg Press (Berlin/New York). She is Director of Art Writing in Goldsmiths, University of London and Founder/Editor of The Happy Hypocrite a semi-annual journal for and about experimental writing. She is currently writing a novel about a vervet monkey and a hi-power Browning pistol.
