Karl Holmqvist is an artist and writer based in Berlin and Stockholm. Recent exhibitions include Hymn to Pan at the Badischer Kunstverein, in Karlsruhe (2010) and Staircase Mystery at the Charlottenborg Kunsthall in Copenhagen (2011). Upcoming exhibitions include a one person show Education Is a Right at Hollybush Gardens in London in May, 2011 and he is part of the exhibition ILLUMInazione and also included in the 54th Venice Biennial this year. A book of his collected poetry What’s My Name? was published in 2009 by Book Works in London.
