Aurélien Froment, born in 1976, in Angers, France, has developed a method that adopts the form of a constellation in which art works interact with each other and place the visitor in a kind of open scenario. His approach uses a multiplicity of mediums that blur the frontier between fiction and documentary to create a space in which visual technologies, and the gestures that they produce, are put into perspective, superimposed and separated. By influencing and combining with each other, the semantic power of images is explored.

Aurélien Froment’s recent exhibitions include: Acknowledgement, Motive Gallery, Amsterdam, Calling the Elephant, Project Arts Centre, Dublin, Of Any Actual Person, Living or Dead, Store, London. Froment recenlty pubished the artist book Théâtre de poche vol. 1, Project Press, Dublin.
