Elizabeth Price is an artist who uses digital video as a site for the reformulation of collections and archives. She is currently showing ‘Perfect Courses and Glistening Obstacles’ at Tate Britain, London, and is shortlisted for the Max Mara prize for Women Artists at the Whitechapel Gallery, London. During 2010/11 she will be developing a new video ‘West Hinder’ with Film London and exhibiting in the British Art Show. Price has recently exhibited ‘User Group Disco’ at Spike Island, Bristol; ‘Strange Objects Permit Themselves the Luxury of Occurring’ at Camden Arts Centre, London; ‘Word/Event’ at the Kunsthalle Basel; and ‘One Brief Moment’ at Apex Art, New York.
