Serena Lee (1984) is a third-generation Chinese-Canadian artist from Toronto. Layering video installation, bargain bin objects, performance, and text, Serena’s practice is driven by an unwieldy, exuberant fascination with musical harmony and cultural politics. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Ontario College of Art & Design in 2008, studied Interactive Media at Tampere Polytechnic University in Finland, and holds certification from the Canadian Royal Conservatory of Music in piano performance.
