with Frederique Bergholtz
April-June 2006
This project explored different approaches to presentation, with specific attention to the performativity of the work of art: the relation between what an artwork “says” and what it “does”, it’s meaning and its effect.

The project resulted in an exhibition in two parts at De Veemvloer in Amsterdam (June 11-16 & 22-27, 2006), entitled Over the last century there have been many developments. Each of the participants was asked to present their work twice: once in an intimate version in the front room of De Veemvloer, and once in the large exhibition hall.
